Almost immediately after the news cast his phone displayed a simple message, “call”. This was normal prior to every assignment.

This call is longer than previous ones and he learns of the demise of a couple he saved from pirates off the coast of Africa they have bequeathed him the sailing vessel, The Lazy Lady that he used to rescue them from the Pirates of the coast of Africa. The information gives him the idea of how to rescue the kidnapped film crew. He will use the Lazy Lady, and he will recruit the person who he promoted to Captain when they sailed The Whistling Nanny, the same type of boat along through the Gulf of California in the case he call Drug Lords.

He becomes Matthew Parker and enters Kenya surreptitiously as the person delivering the ransom that is demanded for the release of the kidnapped hostages.

He disrupts the exchange proceedings and with the kidnapped camera crew he navigates through Kenya as he weaves his way to the coast and their subsequent escape.

He doubles back and eliminates that two army generals that plotted the kidnapping and who relentlessly and ruthlessly pursued the team during the escape.

He returns to the Lazy Lady and sails away from Kenya only to be chased by pirates. Pirates that were not expecting to face a well-prepared defense to their attack. He eliminates Three of the pirate speed boats. The fourth boat ceases the chase because its captain saw the name, Lazy Lady, the boat that had previously eliminated a fleet of pirate boats.

The victorious the yacht sails on to Tanzania where the film crew is dropped off. Ian leaves all the ransom money with the film crew.

Ian once again returns to, Leslie, the love of his life. Epilogue to this story takes place a few years later when Andria, the team leader of the film crew is walking the peer in Tampa Florida and sees the Lazy Lady. Ted invites her on board. She has taken up sailing and she falls in love with the Lazy Lady. As a wedding gift, Ian attends her wedding taking place on the Lazy Lady. His gift is the Lazy Lady.

He has been a person that always mysteriously disappears and he does it again. He waves at Andria who sees him as he leaves the pier.

She asks Ted if he ever knew the real name of the person who saved her.
